Summary
Parkview Health is seeking an experienced, innovative, and service-driven Pharmacy Manager to lead pharmacy operations at Parkview DeKalb Hospital. This role is ideal for a dynamic pharmacy leader who is passionate about patient-centered care, operational excellence, staff development, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Position Summary
The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the daily leadership, coordination, and oversight of the inpatient pharmacy team and operations. This leader ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective medication distribution and clinical operational pharmacy support services, while driving exceptional service to patients, providers, and colleagues.
Key responsibilities include supervising personnel and pharmacy activities, overseeing medication procurement and inventory, promoting outstanding customer service, and leading staff training and development. The manager also contributes to operational planning, regulatory readiness, process improvement, and the advancement of pharmacy services across Parkview DeKalb.
Qualifications
- B.S. or PharmD degree from a School of Pharmacy required.
- Current Indiana pharmacist licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage operations, and implement process improvements.
