Key Responsibilities:

Lead Group Therapy Sessions:
- Facilitate group therapy sessions for IOP adult clients three days per week, with each session lasting three hours.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for clients to process their challenges, share experiences, and develop coping strategies.
- Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, etc.) to address mental health and/or substance use issues.

Treatment Planning:
- Conduct comprehensive social histories to understand the background and needs of clients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring they align with clinical goals and recovery needs.

Insurance Reviews:
- Complete insurance reviews to assess the coverage and benefits for IOP clients.
- Collaborate with insurance providers and administrative staff to ensure continued authorization for services and address any insurance-related concerns or issues.

Assessments:
- Conduct Level of Care Assessments for adolescents or adults in crisis to determine appropriate treatment levels and make recommendations for care.

Collaboration and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and session summaries, in accordance with agency policies and licensing requirements.
Must have a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or other counseling related field.
Must have Assoc/Temp license.
CPI required within 60 in days of employment. CPR required within 30 days of employment. Temp, Associate or full Licensure/certification is required at hire.
2 years in the health care or social service field, psychiatric hospital experience preferred.
