PPG Project Mgmt Specialist

Summary

Responsible for providing project management services for projects focused on meeting the objectives of Parkview Physicians Group. This may include strategic projects, enabling of transformation, involve one or more departments, and management of capital expenses. Services include the management of the scope, schedule, tasks, deliverables, risks, issues, action items, budget, expenses, change requests, and resources. Effectively communicates with project team, sponsors, and other stakeholders, including regular reporting. May also perform activities to support the execution of the project, department service requests and other duties as assigned.

Education: Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in physician practice or other health care area, including formal or informal leadership roles. Experience in Project Management preferred. Ability to work independently in a professional manner with various levels of leadership, providers, co-workers, and other outside organization representatives. Competence in various computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools. Proficiency in verbal and written communication. Able to lead teams and communicate desired outcomes clearly both verbally and in writing.
