Responsible for partnering with the CFO, our new market strategy leadership, Executive Leadership, and Finance Leadership Team to build and promote a World Class “One Parkview Finance Division” using evidence based best practices to support Parkview in executing its mission, vision and values and achievement of strategic goals as they pertain to new market strategies and goals. 

Exceptional and proven leadership skills coupled with the application of continuous process improvement initiatives and efficient use of people, process and technology will be needed for success.

Develops financial systems, controls, programs, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent actions and financial practices and overall success of desired new market strategies.

Ensures the production of timely, accurate and complete financial statements, information and reports as well as producing accurate interim financials.

Working alongside Finance, New Market, and Executive leadership, is responsible for the development of short, intermediate, and long range integrated strategic financial planning to facilitate the System achieving our new market strategic goals and objectives.

Conducts financial feasibility analysis for new market capital projects, acquisitions, and divestitures.

Oversee implementation of financial reporting capabilities in new markets and likely to oversee multiple Finance departments of de novo builds and management service partnering hospitals and systems.

Responsible for preparation and delivery of financial presentations to Senior Leadership and to other constituents, such as county council members and town commissioners and other interested parties.

Ensures evidence based best practices are implemented and maintained in new market facilities and partner organizations.

Partners with CFO, new market strategy team, and Executive Leadership on financial improvement plans for management service partner organization, acquisitions, and de novo builds. Works collaboratively with entity and System leadership to ensure top financial performance. Provides strong financial support to these entities as needed including the timely dissemination of financial data/reports. Collaborates with Leadership on plans and implementation of value-added processes and programs to achieve System goals and objectives. Serves as a key resource and “internal consultant” to all entities in the System and supports development of key strategies related to ongoing financial improvement. Provides proactive and honest communication, leadership, collaboration, and advocacy with a variety of internal and external constituents.

Education

Bachelor’s in business administration with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance. C.P.A. or master’s in business administration required.

Experience

10 to 15 years’ experience of success as a finance leader for a large complex organization, preferably a multi-hospital integrated delivery system, and experience with new mergers, acquisitions, and start-ups.

Proven experience with team building, goal achievement and team building.

Strong leadership, versatility, strategic/visionary thinking and great financial and operational skills.
