Director Finance -FW Hospitals
Summary
Responsible for delivering timely, accurate and relevant reporting and analysis for Parkview's Fort Wayne hospitals. Oversees finance resources supporting hospital operations teams, and interacts with hospital executive and physician leadership. Is instrumental in leading Finance and system-wide projects and endeavors, representing Finance on many initiatives. Key finance and business thinker whose goal is to improve the efficiency and quality of the department and facilities, develop staff, and improve the financial results of the organization. Demonstrates the following: thorough understanding of Parkview's strategic vision, the strategic relationship between the distinct internal businesses, and the application of that knowledge to the team/department. Leads innovation and implements positive change. Delivers clear messaging. Empowers leaders under his/her direction. Manages multiple projects with appropriate delegation. Acts with minimal planning when necessary. Influences with curious thinking. Models high performance. Volunteers discretionary effort constantly.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred.
Experience: 8+ years of progressive financial leadership with a proven record of success, preferably in healthcare. Minimum of 5 years in accounting/finance, with preference for support of hospital operations. High degree of competence with current technology and Microsoft Office tools. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and well-developed leadership qualities. Strong organization skills to maintain a variety of multi-tasking projects. Effectively manage time through delegation and prioritization of work.
