Financial Analyst
Summary
Summary
Parkview Health is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team of dedicated professionals. In this role, you’ll be responsible for analyzing and maintaining financial records, supporting budgeting processes, and contributing to internal and external financial reporting. This position requires a strong understanding of financial transactions, general ledger systems, and healthcare-related data sources (such as Strata, Decision Support, and EPIC). The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret financial data to support decision-making across the organization.

Perform reconciliations of subsystems and related balance sheet accounts, resolving variances and identifying process improvements.

Serve as a financial resource on multidisciplinary project teams supporting growth and operational initiatives.

Support the financial close process and prepare consolidated profit and loss statements.

Monitor compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and external regulatory standards.
-
Act as a key liaison to auditors, analysts, and internal departments, providing needed data and insight.

Lead or support the development of financial reporting systems and tools.

Deliver high-quality service and recommendations to internal customers, including clinical and non-clinical leaders.
Education & Experience
-
Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other quantitative field, or minimum of 15 years of progressive financial accounting/analyst experience.

Preferred:
-
CPA certification
-
Minimum of 3 years of public accounting audit experience, or
-
Minimum of 5 years in private accounting/finance/operations analysis, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in Excel, Word, general ledger systems, and business intelligence tools.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Effective verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of third-party payer reimbursement, coding, and documentation requirements is a plus.
