Summary
Summary
The Ortho-Data Quality Metrics Manager monitors data and metrics and run analytics related to all aspects of orthopedic care, including registry, quality initiatives, and other aspects of measurement and analysis of orthopedic care.
Responsible for all the individuals working within the data quality metrics team.
Develops and tracks data for registries/accreditation, clinical/population health analytic acquisition & analysis. Creates and performs surveillance of metrics related to clinical care which includes quality and outcomes.
Facilitates the data analytics required to achieve accreditations, runs quality improvement projects, and understands the clinical outcomes and opportunities needed to take the organization to the next level.
Responsible for working collaboratively with physician leaders and executives of Ortho Service Line to establish metrics to track, review and develop guidelines that reflect best practice.
Contributes to the ongoing development of the Ortho Service Line facilities by ensuring accreditations are attained and maintained with TJC specialty certifications, AJRR, other national registries, and internal registry.
Responsible for the accuracy of the data, report request intake process, and creating new reports and metrics that will help the Ortho Service Line advance patient care.
Responsible for facilitating and analyzing third parties request for data and data sharing.
Works closely with the Ortho Service Line leadership team and legal team to create mechanisms for data sharing and support.
As Ortho Service Line, continues to grow and serves as the strategic advisor to guide planning and implementation of the vision directed by executive leadership.
Is an extremely valuable resource to provide insight and clarity, allowing data to drive future growth and program development.
Education
Requires a Diploma in Nursing or an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
Bachelor’s in nursing, business, healthcare administration, data, or other related field.
Master's preferred.
Licensure/Certification
Valid Registered Nurse License required for the State where services will be provided.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a data, quality, or related field. Must have experience working with physician leaders in a fast paced environment.
Previous experience in hospital setting and clinical knowledge of surgical environment preferred.
