Summary
Summary
Directs the start to finish throughput of Parkview Health Supply Chain operations. Directly oversees the operations of the Parkview Distribution Center. Directly oversees the supply chain operations of hospital sites, off-site facilities and PPG offices. Integrates/implements advanced material resource planning to enable reduced supply chain costs through optimized forecasting and inventory holding levels. Manages inventory portfolio for all product lines. Works closely with all business functions to understand their service needs, and implements logistics solutions and operational practices that consistently provide excellent customer service. Responsible for development and implementation of standardized policies and procedures pertaining to throughput. Applies policies and procedures consistent with regulatory agencies. Prepares, plans and budgets; controls resources; stays within constraints of budget. Coaches staff and facilities resolution of problems as well as user and patient satisfaction concerns. Implements system-wide stocking strategies in a virtual environment utilizing demand planning tools and techniques.
Education
Requires a Bachelor’s degree from a college or university with major course work in business, finance, marketing or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of full time progressively responsible experience in supply chain management. Minimum 5 years previous experience required with Warehouse Management Systems, Point of Use Systems and Inventory Control Systems. Minimum 5 years of upper management/leadership experience required.
Other Qualifications
Must have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; and project management skills. Demonstrates knowledge of basic accounting and finance theories and applications. Demonstrates superior analytic ability and solid business acumen.
