Summary
Summary
Supervises the Mirro Conference Center banquet operations including waited table service, bars, beverage stations and buffet lines. Supervises banquet operations in absence of Banquet Manager. Assists Banquet Manager in overseeing daily operations of banquet hosting, from planning to execution, ensuring events run smoothly and efficiently according to client requirements and preferences. Ensures the quality of banquet operations, including dishware, linens, food and beverage items are set up and served per Mirro Center standards while complying with all sanitation guidelines and maintaining area in accordance with state health standards. Sets a positive example for excellent customer service and client/guest relations. Maintains inventory and par levels of all banquet equipment and supplies. Assists in design and presentation of floor plans and food/beverage table presentation per clients requests. Supervises and schedules day-to-day work activities of banquet associates by delegating authority, assigning and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards. Supervises by providing positive and constructive feedback to employees in order to reward, coach, correct and motivate.
Education
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent GED. Preferred Associate's degree in Management field.
Licensure/Certification
Serv Safe Certified; or must obtain within 6 months from date of hire.
Experience
Experience in healthcare or retail food services establishment.
