Retail Pharmacy Supervisor
Parkview Health is accepting applications for a full-time Retail Pharmacy Supervisor.
The Retail Pharmacy Supervisor will provide first-line administrative and technical supervision in the organization, planning, implementation, and direction of comprehensive and cost‐effective pharmaceutical programs and services at a portion of four health system outpatient retail pharmacies, a telepharmacy, a central fill pharmacy, and support of six or more hospital based outpatient pharmacies within Parkview Health. This individual will be responsible and accountable for the performance of pharmacy functions required of the Parkview Pharmacy Leadership teams to ensure the efficient operation of outpatient pharmacies. The Supervisor will actively establish, maintain, revise, and implement pharmacy operating procedures, work standards, and quality control measures. Direct reports may include pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy residents, pharmacy students, and/or volunteers. Additional responsibilities include consistent communication with and coordination between outpatient pharmacy and specialty pharmacy activities and the active promotion of good public relations and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, drug information, third-party billing, communication, and technical skills. Additionally, this individual must have excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and people service skills with the ability to also function in a clinical capacity to adequately address medication therapy management concerns. The candidate will need to be comfortable with autonomy and resiliency, able to self‐motivate, willing to actively learn new concepts, and able to drive process improvement.

Our System operates 4 retail pharmacies, a telepharmacy, and a automated central fill pharmacy. The retail locations are located in Allen County and DeKalb County. The Allen County retail pharmacies collaborate closely with Parkview Health Plan Services, our acute-care pharmacies, and providers. The fast-paced main outpatient pharmacy on the Parkview Regional Medical Center campus offers services such as integrated and accredited Specialty Pharmacy, Meds to Beds, and a Medication Assistance Program. Parkview PharmaCare Auburn offers our DeKalb County community prescription compounding and delivery services.
Parkview Pharmacy has provided advanced pharmacy services in a variety of areas for decades. Parkview offers a progressive pharmaceutical care environment in a variety of practice settings, with tremendous growth in ambulatory pharmaceutical care including primary care, hospital-based clinics, specialty clinics, and a retail/specialty pharmacy. Inpatient services include interdisciplinary rounding, and surgical/critical care and oncology satellite pharmacies. Parkview Pharmacy leadership includes a team with dedication to each facility and service type, including Directors for ambulatory/retail, quality & patient care services, and supply chain & logistics. The rest of the leadership team includes inpatient and ambulatory clinical services managers and supervisors, distribution services managers and supervisors, retail & specialty pharmacy supervisors, oncology infusion manager and supervisor, lead pharmacists, and lead technicians. This position will join an existing supervisor and manager over the outpatient pharmacies.
