Patient Placement Specialist
Summary
Must have a BSN from accredited program. Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE) Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA). Must have current valid RN licensure in the state of Indiana. Must have two years of medical surgical or critical care experience. Experience with bed tracking scheduling and ED software preferred. Experience in pre-certification utilization or case management desirable. Previous coding experience desirable. Excellent communication skills (oral and written). Ability to work independently inter-dependently and set priorities.
