Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Education, or a related field.
- Certification by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or other recognized national governing bodies (e.g., American College of Sports Medicine, USA Weightlifting, Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association) required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a human performance or strength and conditioning environment.
- Experience leading sport-specific training sessions for youth populations is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong communication and decision-making skills.
- Maturity, high dependability, and the ability to build rapport with sport coaches, parents, PSM staff, and the community.
- Expertise in sport-specific resistance training and conditioning.
