What You’ll Do:

• Leverage multiple technology programs to perform insurance benefits investigation, prior authorizations and follow-up on denials and appeals.
• Work collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, ambulatory care pharmacists, office personnel, nursing staff and the interdisciplinary team to overcome medication financial barriers and improve access to medications.
• Collaborate with Parkview Outpatient Pharmacy colleagues on mutual patients.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician. Minimum of 5 years of health care experience or equivalent preferred. Experience with prior authorizations, pharmacy billing processes, and insurance coverage is ideal.
• Licensure/Certification: Must have or be eligible for an Indiana Board of Pharmacy Tech in Training license or a current State Board of Indiana license as a Pharmacy Technician or Intern.
• Customer-Focused: You genuinely care about patients and have a knack for creating positive experiences.
• Problem Solver: You stay calm under pressure and enjoy finding solutions to challenges.
• Tech Savvy: You are comfortable navigating technology, web-based platforms, and Microsoft applications, including Outlook and Excel.
