Manager of EMS - Comm Hosp
Summary
Under the direction of the Community Hospital COO and/or designee, is responsible for the organization, implementation, development, and service line alignment necessary to provide world class patient care and customer service at Parkview Health. Responsible for the leadership of operational and clinical aspects of pre- hospital care and management. Works directly with community hospital leaders, PH/ Service-Line leaders, and physicians to ensure development and implementation of operational guidelines, staffing and scheduling processes, competencies, and fleet maintenance. Additionally, works directly with community hospital Medical Director(s) and physicians to develop and implement clinical guidelines, audit and review processes, clinical orientation, and competencies.
Education
Associate degree in Paramedic Science or healthcare related field preferred; or a combination of five years pre- hospital care experience and three years of leadership experience.
Licensure/Certification
Must maintain a current EMT-Paramedic certification. Must maintain a current and valid Indiana driver's license. Must demonstrate insurability under PHS vehicle and liability insurance policies, without a "Driver's exclusion", and/or other insurance mod
Experience
Must have five years experience as an EMT-Paramedic with at least three years in a leadership capacity.
Other Qualifications
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
