Caseworker II
Summary
Summary:
Are you passionate about helping others and creating positive change? Join Park Center as a Caseworker II and play a vital role in supporting children, adolescents, and adults on their mental health journey. In this role, you’ll provide monitoring and supportive interventions, communicate progress with treatment teams and families, and respond to crisis calls with compassion and professionalism. You’ll also assist with transportation when needed, participate in treatment planning, and carry out plans through home visits, community engagement, and school system collaboration. Education
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, human services, or a related field.
Licensure/Certification
- Valid state driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
- CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
- Non-crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire.
- CANS 0–5 within 30 days for Bluffton, Decatur, and 3 Wishes offices.
- CANS 5–17 within 30 days for Bluffton, Decatur, Home-based Case Management, 3 Wishes, and In-School Skills Program.
- ANSA within 30 days for all areas except In School Skills Program and Residential Addictions 3.5.
Experience
- At least one year of experience in a mental health environment (other relevant experience considered).
Other Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate leadership skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Ability to interpret and analyze medical and social history information.
- Skilled in conflict resolution and influencing others with respect and compassion.
- Proactive, team-oriented, and able to navigate ambiguity with structured problem-solving techniques.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and assist with 100 pounds.
