Volunteer Coordinator - Dekalb

Parkview Health Auburn, IN (Onsite) Full-Time

Summary

The Volunteer Coordinator will coordinate, recruit, educate and manage a volunteer base for the benefit of the hospital. Assists with Policy Manuals as assigned. Displays a high degree of independent judgment and self-direction.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED, having completed courses in typing and business preferably.

  • Must have experience in front line customer satisfaction position.

  • Must have 1-3 years experience in volunteerism or working with volunteers.

  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be able to type 35 wpm.

  • Must demonstrate an overall knowledge of ancillary departments' functions within a hospital.

  • Demonstrates knowledge and experience with personal computer and applications preferably Word and Excel.
