Simulation Lab Manager

Summary:
The Simulation Lab Manager is responsible for leading the overall planning, development, and implementation of high-impact simulation experiences across Parkview Health. This role provides day-to-day leadership and oversight of the simulation center team and operations, ensuring alignment with national accreditation standards. The manager supports and facilitates simulation activities that deliver high-quality, evidence-based training for healthcare professionals, and actively promotes interprofessional education and community partnerships. This position is also responsible for data collection and analysis to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with leadership to develop and execute strategic plans for simulation-based education and training.
• Manage daily operations of the simulation center, including staff oversight and resource coordination.
• Ensure all activities comply with national accreditation standards and best practices in simulation-based education.
• Foster integration of interprofessional simulation training and maintain collaborative community partnerships.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret program data to assess outcomes and guide quality improvement efforts.
• Maintain current knowledge of simulation trends, technologies, and platforms.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required.

Licensure/Certification:

• Simulation certification preferred, but not required.

Experience:

• 1–5 years of prior management experience required.
• Clinical background is helpful, but not required.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in simulation-based education and training.
• Ability to map and analyze clinical, educational, and operational processes.
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Proficiency with simulation platforms such as Laerdal, Gaumard Scientific, and MEDI.
