Summary
Full-Time Residency Clinical Coordinator
Effective immediately, there is an opening for a 1.0 FTE Residency Clinical Coordinator. This is a salaried position with no weekend, holiday, or staffing responsibilities. This position should plan to be onsite at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Remote work opportunities will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. This position is responsible for coordinating all Parkview Health pharmacy residency programs: PGY1 Pharmacy, PGY1 Community-Based, PGY2 Ambulatory Care, PGY2 Critical Care, PGY2 Internal Medicine, PGY1/PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership.
Coordination of these programs includes, precepting, recruiting, selecting, mentoring, preceptor coordination, and ensuring compliance with ASHP Residency Standards. The residents provide the Pharmacy Enterprise a tremendous value and are the exemplar of Parkview as they stay or move on to other organizations. Facilitating the growth of the residents into humble, hungry, and smart professionals is a significant responsibility in this position.
The ideal candidate is self-driven and team oriented. The individual must possess a strong ability to multi-task while maintaining great attention to detail. Qualifications include excellent customer service, communication, and team leading skills as well as strengths in problem-solving and self-development. The candidate will need to be comfortable with autonomy, able to self-motivate and function with minimal supervision, able to handle conflict management, willing to actively learn new concepts, and able to deconstruct a process to drive process improvement. Must possess a pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution; and have completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency or have equivalent practice experience. Pharmacy licensure or eligibility in Indiana is required. Board Certification is required within 2 years of hire and maintained throughout the position appointment.
