Director Perinatal Services
Summary
Summary
Maintains accountability to CNO-PRMC & Affiliates/ Vice President in matters of Nursing practice and standards of nursing care. In conjunction with the CNO & Service Line VP, collaborates for the organization, implementation, development and physician alignment necessary to provide world class patient services at Parkview Health.
Leads all programs, including perinatal transports and bereavement, across the system and throughout NE Indiana to meet the detailed requirements of PRMC's designation by IDOH as a Perinatal Center of Excellence. Coordinates nursing and various clinical activities with other directors and leaders within the service line and Parkview Health, establishing and sustaining a patient- centered focus and through that focus, achieving the administrative, clinical and financial goals established by Parkview Health, and in concert with all Parkview Health partners, physicians and other leadership.
Experience
- Must have five years progressive clinical or supervisory experience in a health care field, two to three years in a management position
- Minimum of three years of experience in a perinatal setting.
Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Must have a Master's degree or actively enrolled in Master's program with completion within two years of hire.
Licensure/Certification
Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license required. Additional certifications may be required for specified areas.
