Summary
Summary
Provides leadership for the management of Contract Analysts and Procurement Agents who are responsible for capital/maintenance, purchase services, and product contract negotiations, acquisitions, and management of the second largest expense to the health system, including the direct supervision of Procurement & Contracting Supervisors. Proficiently and professionally leads networking and collaborative efforts with system teams, leadership, and executives utilizing competent and complete communications. Is primarily responsible for the integrity of contracting and procurement and builds relational capacity throughout the system. Provides leadership and monitoring for team as well as SCORe. Provides facilitation of safety and quality process and initiatives. Responsible for the leadership and facilitation of Single-Point-of-Entry, negotiations, contract and procurement lifecycle management.
Education
Must have a Bachelor's in Business, Healthcare, or other related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience
Requires a minimum of five to seven years of progressive management experience in healthcare or a business setting responsible for supply chain contracting and procurement inclusive of negotiations, acquisitions, contract and portfolio management.
