PPG Clinical Specialist
Summary
Summary
Serves as a concept conduit related to patient-centered care principles and initiatives. Identifies PPG practice improvement opportunities and operational changes to improve results. Researches evidence based practice guidelines for ambulatory care. Collaborates with Patient-Centered Care team and Practice Transformation team to develop standard operating procedures/clinical protocols. Converts clinical concepts into programs. Develops training tools to assist in the implementation and role thereof.
Education
Must be a graduate of an accredited ASN program. BSN preferred. Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA).
Licensure/Certification
Registered Nurse license required. Lean background preferred. CPR certification required.
Experience
Three to five years office practice or hospital experience.
Other Qualifications
Demonstrates skill in policy and procedure and protocol writing. Medical office ambulatory knowledge. Must have good written and verbal skills. Knowledge of EPIC.
