PDC PMIS/Tech Contract Analyst

Parkview Health Fort Wayne, IN (Onsite) Full-Time

Summary

Coordinates pre-construction documents, processes Purchase Orders, manages the bid process from opening to closing, contract administration and reporting. Also provides project support and project closeout with consultants, contractors, architects, designers, vendors and various departments in Parkview. Responsible for managing negotiations and writing contracts for the system. Directs Parkview Health departments toward attainment of resource utilization and strong financial assessment and management of the acquisition and contracting process. Assures regulatory compliance with all projects within all managed facilities.

Assumes responsibility and accountability for the management, planning, coordination and execution of PDC PMIS projects and tasks. Consistently provides excellent service to customers. Utilizes critical thinking, troubleshoots problems, and resolves or directs problems to the appropriate individual. Trains internal coworkers and external project team members on the use of the PMIS system and processes. Drives adoption of the PMIS applications throughout key members of PDC project teams. Manages and utilizes the PDC PMIS to provide routine and ad hoc reporting and dashboards.

Performs as a key member of the team and completes tasks including testing, uploading financial and project data, reconciling, and training as required. Is a source of knowledge and assistance as the "super-user" of the PMIS.

Provides supervision for PDC support members (administrative assistants and Furnishings Techs team), organizes these services and leads continual improvement within these functions.

Education: Requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, Nursing or other healthcare related field. Prefer Bachelor of Science with concentrations in Engineering or Construction Management. Prefer Master’s degree.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience at an expected level of performance or less than 5 years experience at a superior performance level. Project Management experience preferred; construction management/administration, capital planning and/or contract management preferred. Experience with AIA documents preferred.Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be available to work varied and flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed. Must have strong customer service skills and ability to work with coworkers of all levels within and outside the organization. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have an understanding of accounting systems. Must use good judgment regarding prioritization of work and confidentiality.
