OP Therapy Access Rep

Summary
Responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through patient registration, insurance verification, pre-certification, and scheduling in a fast-paced, multi-provider setting. Conducts patient interviews to gather demographic and financial information, ensures accurate scheduling based on provider orders, and coordinates with physician offices and ancillary departments. Verifies therapy benefits and obtains necessary authorizations in accordance with established guidelines. Upholds Parkview Health’s Standards of Behavior and ensures quality performance and service excellence.

Education
High school diploma or GED required. Medical terminology preferred.

Licensure/Certification
Addendums are required for the following roles: 0153 Nurse Leader, 0249 Registry RN, 0252 Registered Nurse, 0235 Advanced Registered Nurse, and 0236 Expert Registered Nurse. Refer to the Parkview intranet job description page for details.

Experience
Two years of experience in a medical office, call center, customer service, or clerical setting preferred.

• Proficiency in general computer use and internet navigation.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient keyboarding and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to operate a multi-line phone system and standard office equipment.

• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Professional appearance and compliance with clinic/facility dress code required.

• Must be adaptable and willing to work at alternate locations as needed.
