Manager Supply Chain Ops

Summary: Responsible for the direct management of Supply Chain distribution staff, Supply Chain activities and Supply Chain liaison for multiple locations throughout Parkview Health. Manages the functions of receiving, inventory management logistics and distribution for all medical-surgical, emergency, perioperative areas; and manages both disaster and stat inventory areas. Works closely with all business functions to understand service needs and implements logistics solutions and operational practices that consistently provide excellent customer service. Oversees the enforcement of all Supply Chain procedures and practices, ensures that workplace health and safety requirements are met, and takes responsibility for performance of Parkview Health Supply Chain operations. Significant day travel involved as this position will be responsible for multiple assigned Hospitals/Supply Chain staff.

Education: Must have a Bachelor's degree in a business related field.

Licensure/Certification: Must have a valid Indiana state drivers license.

Experience: Must have a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience; and prefer a minimum of 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience. Experience with inventory/materials systems preferred. Good communication, management and leadership skills with ability to effectively deal with all levels of employees. Knowledge of various inventory control methods and distribution or warehouse management solutions (WMS) preferred. Demonstrates ability to analyze information effectively and consistently; and to complete assignments within established timelines and under general supervision. Must be willing/able to work flexible schedules in order to meet the needs of the operation. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
