Supply Chain Resource Specialist (IN PERSON)

Parkview Health Fort Wayne, IN (Onsite) Full-Time

Summary

Summary

Organize and analyze data, contracts, and financial materials for Supply Chain Leadership and assigned customers. Is primarily responsible for managing special projects, supply, service, and equipment cost information, utilization and benchmark statistics, review of 3rd party data and analytics, surveys, budget cycle, division capital, and performance statistics and reports. Provides strategic, analytic, and project support for key system Supply Chain projects. Organizes, manages and performs responsibilities associated with the acquisition and contracting cycle for new equipment, goods, and services. Resource for Supply Chain Leadership and acts as consultant. Presents recommendations to various groups and leadership individuals. Works closely with Parkview Health Finance Department

Education 

Requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Accounting, Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.

Licensure/Certification

Project Management Certification preferred

Experience 

Requires three to five years experience in a similar position, preferably in a healthcare related field.

Other Qualifications

Demonstrates, through experience or education, significant skills and knowledge regarding computer applications, specifically MSO (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Access Database knowledge a plus. Must have exceptional communications skills - verbal, written, presentation. Must be able to demonstrate strong teamwork and customer service behaviors. Must have access to a vehicle for driving to off-site locations.
