Summary
Job Summary
The Rehabilitation Technician supports the daily operations of the therapy and rehabilitation departments by performing a variety of routine, non-clinical tasks. Under the supervision of a licensed therapist or therapist assistant, the technician may assist with patient-related activities as predetermined for each patient. Key responsibilities include assisting with patient handling, transporting materials, maintaining supplies, supporting routine exercise activities, and contributing to a clean and safe environment through equipment sterilization and general housekeeping duties.
Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Licensure & Certification

Current CPR certification required, or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
Experience Requirements

One year of experience in a patient care setting preferred, particularly in a caregiver or related role.
Other Qualifications
-
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently and 100 pounds with assistance.

Must be capable of pushing up to 300 pounds.

Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team are essential.
