** no weekend shifts scheduled, only on call, from home, every 8th weekend **
Summary: Assists the Pharmacist in duties related to the provision of safe and effective pharmaceutical care, drug products and equipment
Demonstrates proficiency in accurately and aseptically compounding sterile drug products according to work order, USP 797 and Parkview Home Infusion policy, and organization policy under the direct supervision of a pharmacist
Abides by and enforces Parkview Health, Parkview Home Health and Hospice and Parkview Home Infusion policies
Performs clerical, delivery, inventory and other ancillary duties as required
Complies with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations as well regulatory agencies affecting the Pharmacy as applicable.

Successful completion of high school algebra, biology and chemistry courses preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Must have or be eligible for an Indiana Board of Pharmacy Tech in Training license or a current State Board of Indiana license as a Pharmacy Technician or Intern.
Experience: One to two years home infusion or hospital pharmacist experience preferred. Must be available to work overtime or flexible hours as needed
Must have good verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to perform routine pharmaceutical calculations
Must be able to lift, push, pull or handle at least 50 pounds
Must have reliable transportation and provide proof of vehicle insurance.
