Trauma Pgm Nurse

Summary

Must have an ASN from accredited program BSN preferred. Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE) Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA). Registered Nurse in the state of Indiana. Must have current CPR certification. Must obtain one time certification in AIS and trauma registry course within 18 months of hire. Must obtain and maintain ICD-10. Must maintain all required certifications required by the American College of Surgeons specific to trauma registrar. The trauma department will monitor certifications. TNCC or ATCN is desirable. Three years critical care experience. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and coordinate events. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be able to handle a constantly changing environment in order to meet the needs of the patients.
