Outpatient PTA

Qualifications:

• Must have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain a PTA license in the state where services will be provided within 90 days of employment.
• CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• All certifications and licensure must be maintained according to their expiration dates.

Preferences:

• Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred.
• Work experience is preferred but not required, aside from clinical experience gained during educational training.

Additional Requirements:

• If driving a company vehicle, a valid driver’s license is required. For personal vehicle use, proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license are also required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with lifting 100 pounds, and may need to push up to 300 pounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Must be willing to work at other locations as assigned.
