Cardiac Rehab Team Leader
Under the direction of Rehab Manager is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, monitoring, and supervising the exercise for cardiac rehab patients. Evaluates Phase I patients, and Phase II cardiac rehab patients. Develops supervised exercise and prepared progress reports for physicians. Organizes and instructs clinics or exercise related classes. This includes Cardiovascular Health screens, 6 minute walk test, Health Assessment, Individual Treatment Plans, exercise testing, risk factor education and consultation. Lead responsibilities involve staffing the daily schedule, assisting with payroll, event reviews, staff education and orientation, equipment needs, quality reviews. Frequent communication with the Rehab manager is an expectation.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in the area of Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or related field.
Certification by ACSM as an "Exercise Physiologist" or "Clinical Exercise Physiologist" . Must have current CPR Certification.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., 150 lbs. shared lifting. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Must be able to supervise student Interns. Demonstrates ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills.
